There’s something special about women. Something unique. Something God Himself placed deep inside of us. We carry the heart of the King. We carry the heart of God.
And today, I feel led to speak a word to the single women and the single mothers.
There is something about being in this season of singleness. When you don’t have a husband as a covering, you are not left uncovered—because God Himself becomes your covering. And when God is your covering, you are favored in more ways than you realize.
Yes, life can feel heavy. Yes, you may be tired from working, surviving, and showing up for your children every single day. But even in your exhaustion, God sees you. He hasn’t forgotten you.
The Bible reminds us that if God feeds the birds and clothes the lilies of the field, how much more will He care for you? (Matthew 6:26-30) You are seen. You are heard. You are loved. And He is closer to you than you know.
God’s Favor on Single Mothers
Let me tell you something about our God: He favors single mothers and single women in a different kind of way. Why? Because when you don’t have earthly covering, He steps in as your protector, your provider, your defender, and your friend.
It’s not that He loves you more than anyone else—it’s that He has a unique responsibility toward you. You are not abandoned. You are not left alone. You are not overlooked. God has obligated Himself to be your covering, and He will never fail you.
Sometimes He stretches our faith in ways that don’t make sense. Sometimes He calls us to obey in the smallest of ways, only to reveal that the blessing was already waiting. The miracle was already in place before we even said “yes.”
You Don’t Have to Be Perfect to Be Loved
Don’t let anyone convince you that God is waiting on you to be the “perfect Christian” before He blesses you. Yes, holiness has its reward, and yes, God calls us to grow deeper in Him—but even while you are still figuring things out, even while you are still searching and stumbling, He is taking care of you.
When you cry out to Him, He hears you. When you whisper through your tears at night, heaven listens. And when you call His name in faith, He will come through—never late, always right on time.
A Word to Single Women and Single Mothers
If you are a single mother, know this: you are so special to God. Your prayers matter. Your tears matter. Your life matters.
God is your covering. He is your head. He is your shield. He is your provider. He is your rest when you are weary, your strength when you feel weak, your peace when your mind is overwhelmed.
And when you turn your heart toward Him and allow Him to be the one covering your life, He will show out on your behalf. Not because you begged for it, not because you performed for it, but because you are His daughter—and He has promised to provide for you.
So today, let this truth sink deep:
✨ You don’t have to beg God to notice you.
✨ You don’t have to earn His love.
✨ You don’t have to be perfect to be protected.
You are already covered. You are already chosen. You are already loved.
Be encouraged today, sis. God sees you, and He will come through for you. ❤️
